As a director on scripted projects, he has collaborated with Academy Award-nominated executive producers and BAFTA-nominated actors. His Straight 8 was featured at the Cannes Film Festival, and his films have screened at Academy Award and BAFTA qualifying film festivals. He is a joint winner of the prestigious Dreammakers Award (featured in The Hollywood Reporter and Variety), recipient of the Emerging Voices Award, and was part of the flagship BFI NETWORK @LFF development scheme. His documentary work has earned multiple accolades on the festival circuit and is supported by the Emmy Award-winning Ventureland Studios.

As an editor, Hansel has worked with top brands including Land Rover, Arsenal FC and the NFL, cutting everything from fast-turnaround on-site edits, TVCs, short films, and documentaries.
